A thank you to the Ontario Craft Brewers!
So here’s a personal twitter story - outlining the power of a tweet..
As most of you know I moved to Guelph recently and one day after work went to the local LCBO to pick up the new Ontario Craft Brewers mixer pack. Needless to say, went home, cracked a brew and noticed the best before date was 2 weeks prior to this. Checked the rest of the cans were also past their prime.
So, disappointed and as most people now too ( whether good or bad) I took my frustrations out on twitter —> seen here .
Which in turn, started a couple conversations on twitter… here here here and here
Lisa Dunbar from the Ontario Craft Brewers contacted me very quickly after my initial tweet to figure out what store I received the beer from and to ensure it would get removed. She also sent me the gift above which was super nice!!
Now, as most of you know - I try not to be a “shitstarter” that often on twitter - but for something I thought out of frustration the OCB reached out to me in a perfect way.
This is a perfect example of proactive brand monitoring from the OCB - They saw the tweet and within the hour reacted to it.
I have always loved the OCB and well, the present is pretty nice too! ( though was not necessary at all!)
